Automobile front axle deformation detection method
The front axle of the car is a relatively important part of the auto parts. The front axle often has deformation problems during the driving process of the car, which affects the normal use of the car. So how do you detect if the front axle of the car is deformed? Let's take a look at the car front axle deformation detection method.
1. Test with the tester
The main pin hole and spring seat at both ends are used as the positioning inspection reference. Fix the instrument on the two leaf spring seats, insert a test rod into each of the two main pin holes, and operate the instrument so that the measuring head and the test rod are in contact with each other. Through different scales, the main pin hole and the leaf spring seat and the two steel plates are reflected. The position (angle) of the spring seats is checked to determine the deformation position and the degree of deformation. Place the front axle of the car on the two v-shaped irons on the plate and the level on the leaf spring seat. If the level is placed horizontally (vertical front axle), the bubble is not at the center position, indicating that the front axle is distorted; if the bubble is not in the center position when the level is placed vertically, the front axle of the car is bent.
2. using the I-beam tester
In this way, the values of the bending and twisting of the front axle in the vertical and horizontal planes can be accurately measured with an accuracy of 5'. The tester is based on the main pin hole of the I-beam, the leaf spring seat and its positioning hole. During the inspection, fix the front axle on the frame, and wipe the steel plate seat and the main pin hole cleanly. Place the two positioning pins into the positioning hole of the steel plate seat. The base block is placed on the plane of the steel plate seat and the positioning hole. Cooperate. Place the tester on the spacer and secure the positioning mandrel in the main pin hole. Loosen the screw and turn the handwheel so that the v-shaped iron sticks to the positioning mandrel. Then tighten the locating pin of the v-shaped iron.
3. using the pull line test
Place the front axle of the car in a horizontal position, draw the center line of the two leaf springs, hang the weight at both ends of the wire, and pass the wire through the center of the two kingpin holes. Measure the plane and line of the two leaf spring seats with the ruler. The distance between the two is the straightness of the beam. Pull the cable to check if the center lines of the two seats are on the same line. Then check whether the distance between the two positioning center holes to the line is deviated. If there is a deviation, the beam is distorted. Check the distance between the inner end of the main pin hole and the line. If there is an error between the two distances, the angle of the main pin is not correct. Use a ruler to measure the distance between the two leaf spring seats and the thin wire. If they are not equal, if the center is not on the same line, it means that both ends of the front axle are bent up and down, or bent forwards and backwards.
4. with a special square rule
Insert the test rod into the main pin hole, and put a special horn on each of the two leaf spring seats. Place a special square on the horn. The angle of the square should be adjusted and fixed within the specified range of each model. Then let the square feet stand upright and take the test stick to find out the result. There is a gap at the upper end, indicating that the front axle of the car is bent downward and there is a gap at the lower end, indicating that the front axle of the car is bent upward. In addition, it is also possible to determine the coincidence of the front axle of the car from the front and back of the car and the distortion of the front axle of the car.
The above is about the introduction of the deformation detection method of the front axle of the car. I hope that everyone can understand the deformation detection method of the front axle of the car and help everyone to repair the front axle of the car.
