Emark test plan for 29162 (O3&O4 )
In this July, we have sent 29162 to get the new Homologation of replacement drum brake linings for vehicles categories O3,O4 according to R90.02
We have got the Emark certificate for 29162 in 2011 with the test brake make & type is WABCO PAN 22-1, which is N3 catagory. This time we do the test with a new brake system WABCO MAXX22T, which is O3&O4 catagory.
This Administrative procedure with respect to the granting of the E9 type approval certificate by the Spanish Approval Authority.The test procedure consists of both on-vehicle and laboratory tests. On-Vehicle Tests The samples will be tested at IDIADA’s premises (Proving Ground) according to UN Regulation No.90.02.
For Laboratory Tests, the test results from the manufacturer’s laboratory will be accepted after the Initial Assessment and Quality Control System verification
· Shear Strength according to ISO 6312:1981 or ISO 6312:2001
· Compressibility according to ISO 6310:1981 or ISO 6310:2001 or ISO
6310:2009
· Friction Values according to UN Regulation No 90.02, Annex 9
· Hardness according to Standard ISO 2039-2:1987 (This requirement applies to drum brake lining assemblies and drum brake lining).
Technical Documentation and Certification
The results of the above-mentioned tests are in the form of a test report written IDIADA as an official technical service.
The final certificate is issued by the Spanish Approval Authority, carrying the E9 approval number.
