Car composite brake pad process
The main structure of the automobile composite brake pad includes a steel back, a friction block, an attachment, and the like. The steel back needs to have sufficient strength and can be matched to the installation; the friction block mainly consists of a bonding layer and a friction material; the accessory mainly includes a muffler, a circlip, an alarm or an alarm wire. Car brake pads are not just a combination of these accessories, there are many processes to ensure the use of brake pads.
There are many processes for composite brake pads, the main ones are painting, slotting chamfering, ablation and so on. Spraying is mainly for aesthetics and anti-corrosion; groove chamfering is used to facilitate dust removal on the surface of the brake pad and to optimize noise and jitter; the ablation process plays an important role in reducing the running-in period and increasing the initial braking force. The silencer mainly has the functions of heat insulation, shock absorption and noise reduction; the circlip is matched and installed, and is connected with the piston; the function of the alarm and the alarm line is to prompt you to replace the brake pad when the wear reaches the limit.
The importance of car composite brake pads
The brakes used in automobiles can be divided into drums and discs. The rotating element in the friction pair of the drum brake is a brake drum whose working surface is a cylindrical surface; the rotating element of the disc brake is a rotating brake disc with the end surface as the working surface. Regardless of the type of brake, it is braked by friction, so the quality of the brake pad is important for the safety of the brakes of the vehicle.
Most of the threats to the safety of vehicle braking are inferior accessories, and the inferior brake pads are particularly serious. These problems may occur with these inferior accessories: the brake pads are not resistant to shearing, causing the brake pads to break, causing the brakes to fail; the brake pads are unqualified, and it is likely to increase their thermal decay under long-term working conditions. The thermal conductivity reduces the braking effect of the vehicle; the inferior brake pads also increase the wear on the brake discs, and even cause damage to the brake discs during use, which will not only reduce the service life of the brake discs, but also reduce the service life of the brake discs. It will bring security risks to daily driving.
Car brake problem
At present, the size of the friction block of the same type of brake pad is inconsistent among the domestic manufacturers, especially the width of the friction block, and the dimensional deviation between the manufacturers can reach up to three millimeters. This results in a smooth surface of the brake disc, but a large-sized brake pad can also sound if it is attached to a brake disc that has a small brake pad. In case of abnormal noise in the vehicle brakes, first analyze the situation and then check to determine the cause of the problem. Do not blindly replace the accessories. The following ceramic brake pad manufacturers share the brake problems of the car with you.
Remove the original composite brake pad and replace it with a new brake pad. According to the actual situation, the original brake pad has a chance of scratching the original brake disc of more than 50%. First, because it is the original car, and secondly, it is only scratched and does not sound, so 90% of the repair shop and the driver I don't believe that the original brake pads are damaged, so when I replace the new brake pads, I don't actively check whether the brake discs have scratches. When I check the new ones, I will check the brake discs. If the surface of the brake disc is flat, but a new brake pad is installed. It may be that the repairman has biased the brake pads. When removed, you can see that the surface of the brake pads is only partially scratched.
